Rasa Yoga 200hr Teacher Training Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions with respect to payment, participation, attendance and graduation with the RASA YOGA 200hr Teacher Training Course

Booking and Payment Information

This program is a real investment in yourself and your future.
Fees need to be paid in full in order to receive your certificate of graduation.

The total cost is £3495 for the full program tuition, including accommodations & meals, airport transfers
which excludes recommended reading, flights, travel & expenses while abroad
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £995 is due with your completed application form.
(If you choose to pay in full now along with the application form, and for some reason, your registration is not accepted, the deposit will be refunded).

The remaining amount of £2,500 can be paid in up to 2 installments of £1250
The 2 payments are due on the 29th February 2020 & on the 31st July 2020.
If you are booking the super early bird, the full amount of £3100 must be paid by the 31st December 2019
Transfers are to & from Gibraltar airport; the course will start at 15:00 on the first day and finishes at 12:00 on the last day

Possible Additional Charges

In the event of having to repeat any of the modules, resubmit any of the coursework or assignments or re-sit any exam, be aware that there may be additional administration charges and your certification may be postponed.
If you are unable to attend any parts of the course for any reason, you may have to incur further costs of catch-up tuition. 1-2-1 catch ups are to be arranged with your tutor and are charged at a rate of £60 an hour.

Refund Policy

If for any reason you decide to cancel your place on the course, notice is required of a period of 2 months before the start of the training.

During Course Refund Policy

No refund is provided at any point after the commencement of the Teacher Training Program.
In the event of extenuating circumstances there will be the option to transfer enrollment onto a later course or module , please contact JC on info@jcyogi.com to discuss further.

Cancellation of the Course

Course leaders reserve the right to cancel, postpone or amend the course,
including content, teachers, dates and locations, at any point.
In the unlikely event of course or module cancellation, a refund for that specific module will be granted. If the module date is changed, and for some reason you are unable to attend the new date, you have the option to attend on a different module date at no additional charge. If you are still unable to attend any module date at all, you will be given a 100% refund for that module only and your place on the course continued but suspended until you are able to attend.

Participation in the Course

The following are compulsory prerequisites:

  • Successful acceptance on the course following completion of the application form, the interview and the return of the signed code of conduct form.
  • A minimum of 2 years yoga practice is necessary in order to participate in the course. This includes self-practice, practice from instructional videos, workshops, courses, retreats and classes.
  • A reference which may be in email form from a yoga teacher whose class you attend
  • It will always be at the discretion of the course faculty to be decided on a case by case basis as to whether any of the above requirements may be waived or postponed.
  • I understand that RASA YOGA faculty reserves the right to ask me to leave the program at any time if my behavior is inappropriate, deemed as detracting from the wellness of the group, due to a lack of respect, participation or otherwise unethical behavior or in violation of the Yoga Alliance ethical guidelines. In these unusual circumstances I understand I will not be refunded the portion of fees unused.

Attendance

100% attendance on all the Modules is required in order to receive YOGA ALLIANCE certification and successful completion of the RASA YOGA Teaching Training Program.
If for any reason you find that you are unable to attend a session, advance email notice must be provided and a
1-2-1 catch-up tuition should take place with JC Rawady preferably before the following module date. The cost of this is an additional £60 per hour.
Punctuality is essential for a yoga teacher and you must endeavor to be punctual for training sessions and arrive at least 10 minutes in advance of the sessions.

Graduation

Course assessment is on a continuous basis throughout the duration of the course and you will receive feedback on your progress.
Students who do not meet the required standards will be asked to improve on the areas of weakness and demonstrate that they have done this, before being issued with a certificate.
Upon 100% attendance to the course dates and successful completion of projects, exams and assessments you will receive the RASA YOGA Teacher Training Certification and become qualified to teach the RASA YOGA and all other components and sequences learned throughout the Course.
Certification under RASA YOGA will be determined by JC Rawady based on my demonstrated understanding of and command of the skills and attributes needed to teach RASA YOGA
Upon certification, you will be qualified to teach RASA YOGA and welcome to use the branding to enhance your own marketing of classes.
You will also be eligible to register with YOGA ALLIANCE Professionals as a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher which you must do yourself and does incur fees as shown on the YOGA ALLIANCE website www.yogaallianceprofessionals.org
When teaching, you should recognize the importance of honoring lineage of the style, system or sequence of yoga that you are offering by referring to that style or sequence by it’s name and providing your students with any further sources of information regarding the lineage, if required. When teaching RASA YOGA, always take a moment to introduce its core principles and premise in order to provide the students with context.

Legalities

You have read, understood and signed the terms and conditions documents, the code of conduct and familiarize yourself with the course content.

Definition

References to RASA YOGA include its partners, yoga teachers and assistants. References to “claims” include any claims for any type of damages, compensation, costs (including legal costs), awards and/or any other form of loss and/or liability. References to “liability” include any liability in contract, for breach of any duty of care, under any legislation and/or under any other legal basis.

Disclaimer

You declare that you do not and will not hold RASA YOGA responsible for any illness, injury or accident incurred by you or inflicted upon you by others whilst participating in any of the Yoga Teacher Training, including any extra-curricular activities. Whilst RASA YOGA will take every reasonable precaution to ensure your safety, by signing here below you declare yourself of sound mind and body for such activities before participating.

Furthermore, you must ensure that you have full and appropriate Travel insurance which specifically covers you while you are abroad. You must accept that RASA YOGA and their representatives are merely guiding you and that guidance is for informational purposes only and is not meant as expert advice or opinion and is not intended to be relied upon as physiological or safety advice beyond the realms of yoga.

Exclusions of Liability

I agree that RASA YOGA has no liability to me for any: a) Consequential and/or indirect losses; b) Loss of profit, opportunity, business and/or enjoyment; c) Distress and/or mental trauma; d) Loss and/or damage to equipment and/or personal belongings; and/or e) Acts and/or omissions of other individuals (aside from representatives of Rasa Yoga) participating in and/or associated with the Program.

Caps on Liability

I agree that RASA YOGA TTC total liability to me in relation to and/or connected with the Program as a whole (whether arising from separate claims and/or a series of linked claims) shall not exceed the amount payable by me to RASA YOGA for the Program except this cap on liability shall be extended to the extent that any such liability is covered by any insurance of RASA YOGA and such insurance pays out in respect of such liability.

Indemnities

I agree to indemnify RASA YOGA and keep RASA YOGA indemnified against any and all: a) claims by any third party (including but not limited to other participants in the Program) which arise as a result of my acts and/or omissions in connection with the Program; and/or b) any loss and/or damage to equipment or property owned by and/or under the control of RASA YOGA in relation to the Program which arises as a result of my acts and/or omissions (but excluding fair wear and tear).

Legal Restrictions on Limitations

The exclusions and/or limitations of liability in this document: a) only apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and the exclusions and/or limitations shall be deemed to be worded to take effect to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law; and b) do not limit and/or exclude the liability of RASA YOGA for any willful acts and/or omissions of RASA YOGA which are intended to cause loss and/or damage to myself and/or my property.

Identity

I agree that photographic, video and/or sound recordings in any medium made by RASA YOGA of my participation in the Program may be used for the general promotion of RASA YOGA including in printed copy and via the internet.

Privacy

I understand that the information provided by me in this document is necessary for the operation of the Program. I acknowledge and agree that the information will only be used for the purposes of RASA YOGA and to provide me with information pertaining to the Program. I understand that I will be able to access my information through RASA YOGA upon request. If the information is not provided, I might not be permitted to participate in the Program.

Language

This document is construed in accordance with the English Language and in case of any conflict between the English Language version of this document and any translation; the English Language version shall take precedence and shall prevail.

Law and Jurisdiction

This document is subject to the law of United Kingdom and both me and RASA YOGA submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom in relation to any claim and/or liability connected with this document and/or the Program.

Booking and Conditions

These are the Booking Conditions applicable to the teacher training Program booked with RASA YOGA and should therefore be read carefully. Should any part of these conditions become invalid or unenforceable this will not affect the validity of the remainder of these conditions.
